Maddie Hilliard Joins Flock and Rally as Project Coordinator
Feb. 10, 2020 (Columbia, S.C.) – Maddie Hilliard has been hired as a project coordinator at Flock and Rally, the full-service, women-owned communications and marketing agency based in Columbia, South Carolina. Since joining the firm as a full-time employee in mid-December 2020, Hilliard has been working with a variety of clients to create strategic content, plan photo shoots, foster online engagement and more. Hilliard first worked with Flock and Rally during her last year at the University of South Carolina. She worked for one semester as an intern and was subsequently hired during the following semester as a part-time team member. During her year with Flock and Rally, Hilliard assisted in managing client social media accounts, creating content, researching social trends, and managing client photo shoots.
After graduating from the University of South Carolina, Hilliard worked as a freelance social media manager. As a freelancer, she advised and managed social media accounts for a variety of different service providers, including an e-commerce store, photographer, barber shop and start-up skin care brand. Hilliard specialized in using organic content and fostering engagement to increase online presence for various brands.
Since starting full time with Flock and Rally, Hilliard has worked with a variety of different clients, such as The COMET and Experience Columbia SC, providing services such as content creation, copywriting, project management, email marketing and photo shoot management.
Hilliard earned a bachelor’s degree in public relations from the University of South Carolina School of Journalism and Mass Communications, where she wrote articles for The Odyssey Online, became a Digital Media Academy fellow and managed social media for a local volleyball organization.
