The 2019 South Carolina State Fair Campaign

One of the great joys of our company's history has been the opportunity to create the 2019 branding, marketing and advertising campaign for the South Carolina State Fair, which celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2019 and introduced a free daily circus — a new trend in the fairs and expositions industry.
Our team developed a theme, "Prize-Winning Memories," to reflect the nostalgia and excitement of the fair's milestone anniversary.
The S.C. State Fair team was an amazing partner, empowering us to be as creative as our imaginations would allow. We worked with our design partner, Cait Maloney, to create a special 150th anniversary logo as well as multiple sets of whimsical graphics, including a suite featuring a pig in circus attire atop the State Fair's iconic Rocket — riding a unicycle and juggling corn dogs — as one of our key visuals for the campaign.
The South Carolina State Fair, a self-supporting 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, was organized in 1869 and is dedicated to preserving and promoting South Carolina’s agricultural roots while supporting statewide education. The South Carolina State Fair has awarded more than $3 million in scholarships since 1997. The State Agricultural and Mechanical Society of South Carolina brand has always been associated with highlighting the best of our state.
